HOW LONG IS MY APPOINTMENT GOING TO BE?


Appointment times may vary. Allow at least 1 hour for a new patient consultation with or without stress echo testing.

Allow 30-45 minutes for cardiac CT angio (CTA). Allow 15 minutes for calcium score.

Allow 15-30 minutes for follow-up appointments.

We strive to run a tight schedule and meet your expectations when it comes to the time you are kept waiting.


We appreciate 24 hours advanced notice if you need to cancel an appointment.


WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?


All
insurance information (i.e. cards, policy & group numbers, addresses, etc.), photo ID (driver's license).

Current list of all prescribed medications with dosages.

List of any specific questions you have for the nurse or doctor

Bring or wear tennis shoes in case you have stress testing (treadmill).

We will also collect a copay so if it is not printed on your insurance card, please call the customer service number on your card so you know what you will be required to pay at your visit.

PLEASE make sure your primary care physician's office has faxed any pertinent records ( lab results, EKG's, x-ray reports, office notes, etc.) to our office prior to your appointment.


WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY VISIT?

If you are having a consultation with stress echo or stress test in the office, please wear tennis shoes and 2 piece comfortable clothes. You will walk on the treadmill for stress testing. You can and should take all of your presribed daily medications before coming to the office. You can eat a light meal 2 hours before the test.

You do not need to fast for stress testing

CT SCAN


If you are having a CT angio done you will be given thorough instructions at the time of scheduling. You will need to be fasting for 4 hours prior, but drink water during this time. If you have further questions regarding medications, etc. please call the office prior to your test.

If you are having a CT for calcium score only, there is no preparation necessary.
